About the Campaign

Its difficult to get east-west in the Bronx, but increasingly that's where Bronx residents need to go. Fordham, Tremont, 161st, and 149th streets are all vital corridors that move Bronxites east/west and across bridges to Manhattan and Queens. We need those corridors to move people on buses quickly and efficiently. These four corridors represent 1 in 4 bus riders, or 11.4 million rides in 2024. We call on NYC DOT and the Mamdani administration to prioritize these streets for bus speed improvement. Don't stop at Fordham!
