One Place To Channel Your Anger

This is a terrifying and infuriating time. Some of you might want to take a beat, rest, and check in with your community. But for those ready to channel their fear and anger into action, there is work to do this morning.

What happens next — in New York City and in America — is unknown, but two things are for sure:

Local community organizing will be more important than ever, and there is one thing that we can do right now to protect New York City’s future — start congestion pricing tomorrow.

Call Governor Kathy Hochul at 518-474-8390. Tell her to launch congestion pricing today before Donald Trump takes away our chance.

MAKE THE CALLS

Congestion pricing will fund New York’s public transit system, reduce pollution and crashes, and help keep our city secure and stable in a time of uncertainty. Donald Trump has made clear he is opposed to congestion pricing and will cancel it if given the chance. That will be far more difficult if congestion pricing is up and running — cleaning the air, reducing traffic, funding transit, and saving lives. We must act now.

This is our last chance to save congestion pricing. Call Governor Hochul now at 518-474-8390 and tell her there is no time to waste.

CALL KATHY

In solidarity,
Elizabeth Adams and everyone at TA

P.S. You will hear more from TA in the coming weeks about how we will expand local organizing and fight for safe, equitable streets for the next four years and beyond. For now, make those calls. TA will always be here ready to fight with you side by side for a better future.
