Central Harlem needs a protected bike lane. We are proposing a center median protected bike lane on Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd from Central Park to the Bronx.

Central Harlem has no protected bike lanes, but people in Harlem bike. They bike to get to work, while at work, for recreation, and to get to after school activities. Over seventy-five percent of households in Central Harlem do not own a car. We are asking for a protected bike lane along the center median of Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd from Central Park to the Bronx.
