Transportation Alternatives and Families for Safe Streets Thank Pro Bono Attorney for Legal Assistance

Statement of Transportation Alternatives Executive Director Paul Steely White:

"Each of the 14 New Yorkers affiliated with Transportation Alternatives and Families for Safe Streets who were arrested during protests related to the campaign to extend and expand New York City's life-saving speed safety camera program were granted an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal on Friday. Transportation Alternatives and Families for Safe Streets are grateful for the pro bono legal guidance of attorney Douglas Schneider, who represented the defendants in court."
