SAVE CONGESTION PRICING

Your calls are working! We are holding off Governor Hochul’s attempts to destroy congestion pricing! But you need to keep calling your State Senator and Assemblymember.

Here’s your script: “We need congestion pricing. There is no alternative. Please stand strong and refuse to take any of Governor Hochul’s deals for alternative MTA funding. Congestion pricing or bust.”

We are not going to let that happen.

Call all day. Don’t stop. Tell your friends.

Here’s the detailed update:

When Governor Hochul “canceled” congestion pricing, she didn’t just guarantee generations of asthma, polluted air, unsafe streets, snail’s pace buses, and inaccessible subway stations -- she left a massive gap in the MTA’s budget. If she can temporarily fill that gap, just for the next few months, then she can make congestion pricing disappear forever. So, last night, Governor Hochul proposed one bad idea after another to make up that funding gap.

IN-PERSON EVENTS

On Wednesday, June 12, at 5:30 pm, we are bringing the fight to save congestion pricing to Kathy Hochul’s doorstep. If she wants congestion, we will show her congestion — with a mass mobilization!

COUNT ME IN

And there are three other upcoming in-person actions to save congestion pricing…

Saturday: The folks behind r/micromobility are organizing a rally in Times Square in support of congestion pricing. Details here.

Sunday: Our friends at Rider’s Alliance are organizing an emergency rally at noon at the Broadway Junction stop. RSVP here

Tuesday: TA’s Queens Activist Committee is organizing a congestion pricing rally at Lowery Plaza (Queens Boulevard and 40th Street) at 11:30 am. RSVP here

Congestion pricing is New York City's one chance at cleaner air, lower asthma rates, faster buses, fewer train delays, and more accessible subway stations. We won't let Governor Hochul take all that away.

Stop Kathy Hochul. Save congestion pricing. Say you’ll be there.
