Brooklyn CommitteeBrooklyn is a constantly changing borough filled with bright spirits and unique ideas. The T.A. Brooklyn Committee harnesses the power of those who call this borough home to create impactful results from Bay Ridge to Greenpoint, Brownsville to Cobble Hill and Red Hook to Brighton Beach. Working to make the streets safer and more welcoming is the highest priority and you’ll find a highly energized group at our monthly meetings (which are often followed by a short social outing), on our frequent bike rides and taking part in advocacy actions around the borough. No experience is necessary to join in, just a commitment to making Brooklyn home to better public transit and safer for pedestrians and bicyclists. We also host an online Google group for continued discussion of local advocacy and news. For more information please e-mail volunteer@transalt.org or attend one of our monthly meetings.
