The NYPD Must Make Our Streets SaferExpiration Date: December 31, 2013
Car crashes cause more than 3,000 serious injuries a year. The NYPD investigates only about ten percent of those crashes. In every other case, evidence of possible criminal conduct is ignored. The NYPD fails to take the investigation of traffic crashes seriously. Thousands of New Yorkers are killed or injured every year by dangerous drivers and the NYPD continues to ignore this threat to our safety. Tell Mayor Bloomberg we need him to be a champion for traffic justice. |
