New York, NY - Every September, thousands of New Yorkers take to the streets for a 100-mile bike tour – without ever leaving the City. The NYC Century Bike Tour is the only fully urban 100-mile bike ride in the United States, taking riders of all ages and skills to the great biking destinations of New York City. Bikers ride the periphery of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx, seeing more of the City in a single day than many New Yorkers do in a lifetime.

NYC Century riders are not just weekend warriors; they are New Yorkers that go on to become regular bike commuters. Transportation Alternatives has hosted the event for nearly twenty years to show New Yorkers where and how to bike in their own city. With bicycling booming like never before, the NYC Century brings riders to the streets and greenways that make this one of the world's most bikeable cities.
