Awards Ceremony and Celebration for
Designing the 21st Century Street

You are cordially invited to join us as we honor the winners of Designing the 21st Century Street, Transportation Alternatives' first international design competition. Drawn from a pool of over 100 submissions from 13 countries, the three winning entries are remarkable for their ingenuity, invention and beauty.

For one evening only, the winning works will be displayed alongside elements from many of the other submissions in a multimedia exhibit housed in DUMBO's acclaimed Galapagos Art Space. Members of the winning teams and the all-star jury will be on hand for the occasion, making it a unique opportunity to find out the how and why of world-class street design.

Intersections for sitting, streets that grow green, and truly dynamic spaces--the future of the streets that bind our cities together is still being decided. Come out and take a peek at a better tomorrow. We hope to see you there.
