Families for Safe Streets Chapters

Families for Safe Streets at World Day of Remembrance

Families for Safe Streets was founded in 2014 by the families of loved ones who were killed or injured in crashes in New York City. Over the past few years, people across the country have reached out to Families for Safe Streets (FSS) in New York City asking for assistance in forming an FSS chapter within their communities.

There are now several chapters across the country and more in formation. We created two guides -- one for advocacy organizations and another for victims and family members -- on how to start a chapter that offers simple and easily accessible help with that process.

Join us and help create a national movement for safe streets that literally saves lives.
