T.A.'s 2010 Community Board Jammy Jam

If you're eager for local improvements like bike lanes and bike parking, a car-free park, more block parties, wider sidewalks, or bus rapid transit--your community board is step #1. But Community Boards are only as open-minded and effective as the people who sit on them. That's why we're calling on our network of smart, motivated and civic-minded people to join a local Community Board this year.

On November 23rd, T.A. and Livable Streets invite you to learn about and apply for Community Board membership at the 2nd Annual Community Board Jammy Jam. This party, which will include good food and people, is the best place to learn about effecting change through these boards, chat with current Community Board members, and pick up, fill out and notarize your application. We'll make joining your community board fast, easy and fun.

We'll be providing dinner and drinks, so help us get a head count and get neighborhood-specific materials ready by RSVP'ing by November 18th.
