Tour de Staten Island

This scenic ride guides over 1,000 cyclists through the borough's most breathtaking and lesser-known landscapes.

Both the 35 and 50 mile routes explore Staten Island's gems and observe striking oceanfront views of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and New York Harbor. The ride culminates in a finish festival with food, drinks and fun activities.

Brooklyn Summer Streets TA Family Bike Ride

Meet outside 10 Grand Army Plaza (on Eastern Parkway side)

Celebrate Brooklyn's first-ever Summer Streets with us! Eastern Parkway will be car-free from Grand Army Plaza to Buffalo Ave on Saturday, August 26. The Transportation Alternatives Brooklyn Activist Committee (TABK) will lead a bike ride to celebrate Brooklyn Summer Streets. All are welcome, but the pace and route (less than five miles) will be particularly family-friendly.Limited Citi Bikes are available for free (16 years old and up) upon advance request to Brooklyn@transalt.org.

Summer Streets Ride 2023 TA Bike Ride

DOT has further extended Summer Streets this year. We will be riding through Manhattan, starting uptown in Harlem next to the State Office Building at W 125th Street and rolling all the way down to the Brooklyn Bridge.

Along the route, we will highlight various campaigns that our TABxUP and TAMAC activist committees are currently working on (Central Harlem Bikeway, River to River and Fix Canal Street).
