Therapeutic Writing

Families for Safe Streets Injury Support Community. Been injured in a crash? Join us in exploring writing as a powerful tool for healing.  Not a writer? This evening is meant for you too!  No writing experience necessary and exercises can be done in whatever language you prefer. Appropriate whether your crash was recent or long ago. Short periods of writing will alternate with periods of discussion and optional sharing (no reading aloud or turning in of work required). As always, there will be ample time for meeting others and sharing resources too. Facilitated by psychotherapist, author, and memoir teacher Sarah Saffian, LCSW, MFA, saffian.com.
